The history of Dorko dates back to the gym shoes made at the Dorog rubber factory in the sixties. The shoes, publicly known as “dorkó” were reborn in 2014 when the Hungarian brand was established. It has been important for Dorko right from the beginning to cooperate with talented designers, upcoming musicians, artists and sportspeople. Many people inspired the redesigned “dorkó” in many ways. The brand is backed by real teamwork and as a result can develop step by step. One of the main pillars of Dorko’s mission is to convey important messages, through which it can highlight Hungarian charity issues that would not be given enough attention in everyday life. The Dorko Hungary collection is proudly worn by numerous Hungarian sport federations, sportspeople and, of course, also by the enthusiastic audience that supports them.
